Welcome to Wikipedia, Ranel5310! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Orphaned non-free media (File:Windows_7_Ranel_5310.png)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Windows_7_Ranel_5310.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 06:51, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Quirino Grandstand hostage crisis

edit

Could you explain why you moved Manila hostage crisis to Quirino Grandstand hostage crisis without consensus, unilaterally, without first bringing it up for discussion — especially since this is still on the Main Page? Strange Passerby (talk) 05:28, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

With no explanation forthcoming, I have reverted the move. It remains up for discussion at Talk:Manila hostage crisis, feel free to explain your rationale there. Strange Passerby (talk) 05:51, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

File:BBC.co.uk.jpg listed for deletion

Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Your recent edits

edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:37, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Long-term abuse report deleted

edit

I'm aware that you're retired, so this message is primarily for other users to see. The long-term abuse report you created has been deleted, as it did not meet criteria. The user has never been abusive and has never vandalized, so a long-term abuse report was not needed. Deleted report. Netalarmtalk 04:08, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
