Otokonoko edit

This is in reply to your question on my talk page. I see your edit has been reverted by another user. That user appears to have had some editing disputes. I would suggest you let it go. As I look at the last citation now on the page, it makes the point about "trap." The remaining text indicates the the possible reflection on gays and leads to that citation. Anyone truly interested can look at that. The addition to the text that has been removed makes the point more explicitly but that is probably not necessary and is certainly not worth getting into an edit war over. The two additional citations simply make the same points but also could bring on controversy as non-neutral or off topic. Since I think the still existing citation suffices, the point is still there. It is probably in other more general articles as well. So there could be an argument that the additional text and citations are not just superfluous but irrelevant (which the user states). Given these considerations, I would not get into a dispute (edit war) over whether to add on to a point that is in fact not totally removed. I suggest, as a new user who would not want to appear immediately disputatious, that you also do not do so. Donner60 (talk) 05:42, 26 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
