Johnny Joo AFD edit

Sorry for reverting your removal of the template to the article. I didn't realize that you were attempting to close it following the withdraw of the nomination by the creator of the discussion. Some quick things to note for future reference:

  • You've make significant contributions to the article that was being nomination for deletion. Because of this, it's bad practice to be the person who closes the discussion - especially given that you voted, and the result was your desired outcome. In this case, since the nominator withdrew, it wouldn't be as big of a deal compared to usual cases. Regardless, it's just a good idea to always leave the closure of an AFD to someone else if you've participated significantly to the article with edits and/or added a voting comment to the AFD discussion itself.
  • You did not properly close the AFD discussion. You added the template information to the AFD that you'd normally add to the talk page of the article. It's okay; it was your first time and I certainly messed up my first AFD closure, too. However, since you're a brand new account and diving into process quite quickly, I'd hold off until you've gained more basic experience first. That aside, make sure to read the proper instructions for this situation, and understand what to do first before attempting to do this. The list of instructions is located here.

Again, sorry for reverting your removal of the template. You just didn't include the proper edit summary, so I didn't believe that it was following a closure but a removal of the template in order to oppose the deletion. :-)
