Improving articles edit

Fewer than 2% are either Good or Featured Articles, suggesting that all of the others can be improved (and thousands tagged for deletion). Look for stuff you know about. David notMD (talk) 19:31, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Hi RandomDude6. I see at the top of your talk page, you've introduced yourself, which is nice, I also have a short introduction for myself. You might notice that mine is on my user page, whereas yours is on your user talk page. Traditionally, on Wikipedia, user talk pages are supposed to be allocated to discussions, whereas introductory speech about yourself goes on your user page. Of course, you're welcome to do (mostly) whatever you want with these pages, I just thought I'd let you know  . If you have any questions, don't fret to ask me! --VersaceSpace 🌃 21:30, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

July 2022 edit

Hi RandomDude6, welcome to Wikipedia.

I wanted to let you know I've reverted a few of your edits as they weren't particularly helpful - for example, at Dorian Descloix you changed the text to describe him as a "now French tennis coach". I'm not sure what you were going for but he was always French. Additionally at Teperberg 1870 your edit was not grammatically correct so I've changed that back too.

You can use the Preview button on the editing screen to check your edits before hitting publish to make sure they're correct. Happy editing! Kind regards, Princess Persnickety (talk) 21:52, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok thank you! RandomDude6 (talk) 13:25, 7 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Grammar and syntax edits edit

Hello, RandomDude6, I have noticed that some of your edits to the way articles are worded have been reverted. You are clearly editing "in good faith" and Wikipedia appreciates that. I would like to ask you, is your first language English? If not, you might be better off making other sorts of edits, like typo fixes. English syntax and grammar can be confusing for anyone, particularly for younger users who have not read formal English extensively in books, encyclopedias and older periodicals.--Quisqualis (talk) 07:28, 10 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
