July 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Acciona Energy, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 09:06, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Acciona Energy edit

I replace the image, but not the logo. The logo should be uploaded to Wikipedia rather than Wikimedia Commons. Probably the company registered it as a trademark and should not be "public domain". If copyrighted and/or meets Commons:Threshold of originality, it should not be hosted on Commons. I added a deletion request to the image on grounds of the wrong license and uncertain originality. Consider uploading the logo with Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard and use a wp:Non-free / fair-use license. Click the "Upload a non-free file" button. The image is small enough to comply. On step 3 use "This is a copyrighted, non-free work, but I believe it is Fair Use." and "This is a logo of an organization, company, brand, etc."

See File:Japan Airlines Logo (2011).svg for an example of a non-free, fair-use logo license.

You uploaded the image File:Acciona energia.png, but the metadata only contains resolution information, but no camera data suggesting it might have been downloaded. Does it have the correct license? Is it your own work, or copied from elsewhere? Cheers Adakiko (talk) 20:40, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Adakiko, thank you for giving me the correct indications for uploading correctly these type of logos, I will upload it this way soon. The image File:Acciona energia.png was done by me with a Nikon Coolpix p510, but the image is a downloaded copy of it because the resolution was very high and had to be reduced.
