Image copyright problem with Image:Rajeev5.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Rajeev5.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. — Rebelguys2 talk 23:56, 28 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi. First, I wanted to point out that you left your message on Talk:Jimmy Wales, which is the talk page for the article, and in one of the boxes up the top it points out that Jimbo doesn't look there often and the place to get his attention is his user talk page, User talk:Jimmy Wales. Now, as to your question. It's actually been known for a while that the Sanskrit and Japanese characters in the Wikipedia logo are wrong - it even made it into the New York Times. Unfortunately, to fix it would require more effort than anyone's willing to put in at the moment, apparently, even though it's been brought up many times (on the Village Pump, Reference desk, Help desk, and Administrators' noticeboards here, plus the mailing lists and presumably on the other Wikipedias as well). If you know someone who can use 3D modelling and graphics manipulation software and is willing to completely remake the logo from scratch, for free, by all means go ahead, but otherwise unfortunately it looks like it's going to stay like it is. December 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Ambedkar University, Delhi, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Shyam B. Menon edit

The article Shyam B. Menon has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. かんぱい!
