Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Rajasekhar1961! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. S. Hanumantha Rao - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Sriranjani (actress) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 17:57, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Both of them are not living persons. They died long back. Hence the notion of applying guidelines of BLP does not apply to them. I would add the references soon.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 07:19, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
I proposed S. Hanumantha Rao for deletion because it has no reliable sources that allow verification of notability. Hekerui (talk) 13:02, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Copyright caution edit

Hi. The problem with WHO Expert Committee on Biological Standardization isn't notability, but copyright. As I explained to you in October 2009, you cannot copy text or even closely follow text from another website unless the external website is licensed compatibly. Text should be written completely in your own words, unless you are briefly quoting material for the reasons and in the way described at the non-free content policy and guideline. (See Wikipedia:Copyrights, Wikipedia:Non-free content and Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing.) You have been notified of this issue multiple times now ([1], [2], [3], [4]). Please be careful with this in the future to avoid being blocked for copyright violations. While I don't believe you intend to infringe copyright, we do have to make sure that material that is placed on Wikipedia is legal for our display. If you have questions about how to use non-free content, you are welcome to come by my talk page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:25, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of T. G. Kamala Devi edit

A tag has been placed on T. G. Kamala Devi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I've declined the speedy deletion. The article shows some evidence of notability. However, in accordance with WP:BLP and WP:CITE, the article needs much better referencing. All statements should be verifiable. I don't normally create BLPs myself, but I did create Sally Carr yesterday. If you check that article, you will see that all statements are referenced. Please note that although the speedy deletion has been declined, another editor may still nominate the article at WP:AFD. The better the referencing the easier it is to establish notability and thus avoid deletion. Mjroots (talk) 08:07, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Copyright cleanup edit

Hi. In response to your note at my talk page, a number of contributors in this position have taken the opportunity to rewrite articles that have been tagged as copyright concerns. We seldom immediately delete articles located there, but usually blank them and list them at the copyright problems board. The template that is placed on these articles generates a link to a temporary page where their contents can be rewritten. If you were not the original creator, we frequently might just revert to an older version of the article. In that case, the page is in no danger of being deleted, and you may rewrite the content at your leisure. You do, however, have ot be very sure that the contents as you rewrite them are completely written in your own language to avoid additional copyright concerns. I'm afraid that we simply must ensure that content on Wikipedia meets copyright laws of the United States. I know this can create additional hardships for users who do not live in the US and are less familiar with US copyright conventions, but the Wikimedia Foundation is itself subject to United States law and has no choice.

I should add that typically these investigations progress rather slowly, as we have many of them and a small cleanup crew. I suspect you will be able to keep up with those which are blanked without much difficulty. Should it prove to be too quick for you, we can take steps to accommodate you, including lengthening the amount of time articles are listed at the copyright problems board before closure. We would be very happy to have you work with us on making sure these articles comply with copyright policy, though their review will need to be done by somebody other than yourself who may pick up problems that you do not detect. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:24, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

That article is likely to be an exception. Almost all of the creative content was a blatant copyright violation. In addition to the plot section, you pasted material from [5] into the lead to the point that it qualified for deletion under WP:CSD#G12. If you decide to rewrite it, I will be happy to restore for you the infobox, song list and categories. I'm sorry for your frustration here, but it has been clearly explained to you multiple times that you cannot copy content from other websites. There is no reason for you to have pasted content from that page on February 24, 2010. You should have been well aware that this was not allowed. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:04, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I have restored the non-creative contents and tagged it under construction to keep it being swiftly deleted for lack of substantial content. Please be sure that the language you use is your own, except if you incorporate brief quotations that are clearly marked with quotation marks or block quotes with a citation placed immediately following. Extensive quotations are forbidden, which also means that you cannot use too many quotations from the same source. Most of the material should be your words only. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:17, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Where there is a clean version of the article, before copyright infringement, we restore that in cleanup. Unfortunately, that will mean some of your work will be lost, and you will have to redo it. I have done as you requested this time, but I do not have time to salvage this kind of material routinely. We have thousands of articles awaiting copyright review and cleanup, and these must be cleaned as quickly as possible.
I did not restore the links to either youtube or the site containing the songs. If these sites have official authorization, it is fine for you to put them back. If it is not clear that they are official sites, you should not. It is contributory copyright infringement to link to sites that we should reasonably expect to be in violation of copyright. Youtube often is, though not always. Sites that include music lyrics or song snippets frequently are as well. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:13, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dr Mangalore Gopal Kini edit

Dear Dr Rajasekhar,

You had updated the page on Dr MG Kini on Wikipedia. I have made a small correction to the name to Dr Mangalore Gopal Kini. The original document was in error.

It might also be appropriate to recheck the date on which the foundation stone of the Orthopaedics dept at Andhra Medical College. It cannot be 1964 since Dr MG Kini had passed away by then. My guess is that the year would be 1946 - about the time he was serving at King George Hospital, Vizag

Dr MG Kini was my grand father.

Telugu cinema edit

First of all. Big thanks for all your work on Telugu cinema. You;ve done a lot of work! However I've noticed that your articles don't have film posters. I uploaded one for Tenali Ramakrishna (1956 film). If you don't know how to upload I'll show you so you can also upload the posters/soundtrack covers to all of your film articles. It's easy. All you have to do is google image the film, save the poster in "My pictures" and then upload and copy and paste my rationale into the poster page with the relevant url source link and article title it is used in. Dr. Blofeld White cat 08:55, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Thank you for helping me. I am not familiar with the Uploading of the photographs. If you can help me in this, I will be very grateful.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 10:11, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Yes OK. Say add an image to Rendu Rellu Aaru. Visit http://www.sujji.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/rendu-rellu-aaru.jpg. Right click on the mouse. Click Save As. Save picture to my pictures of whatever like Rendu Rellu Aaru.jpg Then on wiki click toolbox (vector skin) . Click upload file. Click A screenshot taken of a movie, TV program, computer game, web site, computer program, music video, or other such source. Find the picture in the "source" box and click it on the uploading page and upload file. I will then show you what you need to include so as the image will not be deleted later. Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:38, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I would also like you to develop the years in Telugu film. I created all of the Indian film lists, even the Bollywood films likes Bollywood films of 1971. I'd like to see you create say Telugu films of 1988 like Telugu films of 1961 but with the details of the Bollywood films of 1971 page. Building a comprehensive guide to Telugu films by year is the idea. You could do this at least for 1950-1990 by year. Telugu films of 1957 etc. If you look to see how the table is formatted you'll get the idea of how to do it. If you need help in getting anything started just leave me a messahge and I will try to respond as soon as I can. Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:54, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

    • Thanks. I have uploaded the Rendu Rella Aaru picture. Please correct if there are any mistakes.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 12:27, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Ah sorry my mistake. Yes that's good but I wrongly told you to select "screenshot". What you want is the "A cover or other page from a book, DVD, newspaper, magazine, or other such source" not screenshot when uploading. Then select licensing DVD if a DVD cover or album if an album cover. Where possible you should try to find the original film poster rather than DVD but any image helps. So any image you want google image it click on the image and save and upload. OK?

Once you've uploaded like you did copy and paste what I did : here and provide the full rationale.

You can access it here. Just copy and paste it over the original non free rationale box and just make sure you provide the url source link and the article it is being used in. If you follow these instructions you should be fine. Trust me on this I've had a lot of trouble with image deletions in the past and the most effective way of ensuring they are not deleted is my box. I'll put this link on you user page to refer to when uploading.

II've made this template for Telugu film lists also:

    • Where do we get complete list of films by year. I would be happy to create the lists from 1940 to 1990. Thank you in helping the Telugu film date more comprehensive.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 12:35, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

imdb lists would be a start.. It has over 2000 films from mid 1930s to present in order. Probably though for 1930s and 1940s you'd be best off having a Telugu films of the 1930s and a Telugu films of the 1940s page until there are enough films for seperate years like the Bollywood films of 1971 page. But from 1950 -1990 by year should be OK. Dr. Blofeld White cat 12:40, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Actually when you upload another image upload file, select "other" rather than screenshot or a cover" and then copy and paste what is in the link on your user page next to Telugu cinema. Copy and paste it into the image page than click edit at the top of the page and add the source both inside the both and outside and the name of the article it is being used in three times. If possible you should say e.g Copyright owned by Universal Pictures or something. If you don't know the name of the film company then remove "Copyright is owned by". OK? This is very quick, it should look like File:Nartanasala.jpg after you've done it. The reason why you have to have the source twice is that the fair use bot doesn't read the one in the table, only the one outside it. Don't try to edit the template itself though, ignore the small letter vde on the template, don't touch them!! Dr. Blofeld White cat 14:03, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Of course you can upload it so long as it is properly licensed as non-free fair use. Dr. Blofeld White cat 08:37, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I will correct this shortly. You may not know this but it is against guidelines to list the crew under the cast section in articles. That is what the infobox is for. However, we are missing parameters for choreographers, playback singers and art directors. I've made aproposal to add these at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films. PLease comment there are support it if you would like to see it. Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:57, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please follow this close instructions for future uploads:

  1. Google image poster and save to your pictures
  2. Upload file but select "other" NOT A cover or other page
  3. Once uploaded go to your user page click the rationale link. Copy and paste it and then complete remove the original paramters on the upload page and paste this instead. ALl you need to to then enter the name of the film several times where required and the source twice, once outside the box and once inside. OK?

PLease closely look at File:Paramanandayya Sishyula Katha.png for how it should look. Dr. Blofeld White cat 11:03, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Barya Bhartalu.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Manchi Manasuku Manchi Rojulu edit

A tag has been placed on Manchi Manasuku Manchi Rojulu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Copyright edit

Just so you know, anything produced before 1950 in India is public domain. No need to have a fair use license for File:Vara Vikrayam.JPG. PD-India is the license. So you can freely upload as many screenshots/posters/images from films pre 1950 as you wish.So any Telugu film of the 1930s or 1940s you are free to upload what you like under the PD-India license. Dr. Blofeld White cat 18:05, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you have them saved on you PC simply upload as normal, state the book you scanned it from, the film name and date and then simply add a PD-India tag. Try one. Make sure you don't upload any after 1950 though. If you do it will have to be used in the infobox for an article under a fair use screenshot license if the poster cannot be found. Orphaned non-free image File:Chiranjeevulu.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Chiranjeevulu.jpg.

Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:17, 17 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Sumangali 1940.JPG edit

Thank you for uploading File:Sumangali 1940.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:31, 23 July 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:31, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Telugu cinema edit

Hi. Featured articles have extremely strict criteria. Kareena Kapoor, one of the best actress articles for Indian cinema is still not FA. Given the general lack of credible sources available for Telugu cinema you'd be very luck to even get a good article. If you select a classic Telugu film which has plenty of reliable sources, in books you have, newspaper articles etc then we can give it a shot for GA but I'm telling you now to have a featured article on a Telugu cinema related articles would be a near impossibility. The only article which may stand a chance providing sources can be found in the long run is an article on Telugu cinema itself. Dr. Blofeld White cat 08:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • I am thankful for your fair opinion about Cinema related articles. I agree with your opinion in general. Can you identify some articles of stub or start class and give suggestions to make them Good Articles. I will try to bring at least few of them to that stage.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 09:43, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Pavuluri Mallana edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Pavuluri Mallana, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Pavuluri. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

Speedy deletion nomination of Komarraju Atchamamba edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Komarraju Atchamamba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. -- Ice (talk) 08:13, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dear Dr. Rajasekhar A.

I had the good fortune of being associated with the association celebrating the annual birthday of the 25th Pontiff in his birthplace. So I got the access to a rare out-of-print English and Tamil biographies of this Acharya almost half a century ago and a lot of other published sources which are essential for adding content in Wikipedia. I do not possess so much knowledge about the hoary tradition of the Sringeri Parampara to contribute. But if I find some material during the couse of my association with this association, I will certainly pass it on to you for the benefit of the devotees of Sringeri Sarada Peetam

Thanks. Will keep in touch. Kbala1055 (talk) 11:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Copyright problem: Kilambi Ramanujachari edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Kilambi Ramanujachari, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://prahladk5.blogspot.com/2007/06/profile-of-avatar.html, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:

It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Kilambi Ramanujachari saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! VernoWhitney (talk) 17:02, 18 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

While not a word-for-word copy, the article is a close paraphrase and needs to be rewritten further (preferably from scratch) in order to avoid infringing copyright. VernoWhitney (talk) 17:02, 18 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Continued copyright problems: block caution edit

I am very sorry to say that in spite of our earlier conversations and your prior block you are still creating copyright problems on Wikipedia. You cannot copy or closely paraphrase previously published content. You must rewrite all content completely in your own words unless you can verify that it is public domain or compatibly licensed with our project. You may utilize brief quotations for good reasons (such as the ones set out at WP:NFC), but any content you copy from any non-free source must be marked by quotation marks or put into a blockquote.

In Kilambi Ramanujachari, you have included the following. I am bolding the content that you have copied exactly from the source (though you may have omitted some words):

He was born in 1852 in an orthodox Srivaishnava family in Pentapadu Agraharam, near Tadepallegudem, West Godavari district, British India. He was extremely precocious in learning and had mastered various texts in Sanskrit and studied the Hindu epics at very young age.

Also today, you placed this line into Government Arts College. I am bolding the content that you have copied exactly from this source:

New buildings for the College were constructed in 1953 and were opened by Dr. M. V. Krishna Rao, the then Madras Education Minister.

Just a few weeks ago, in Maharajah's College, you placed the following. Again, I am bolding the content that you have copied exactly from the source:

The demise of Maharajah Ananda Gajapathi was a great blow to the cause of education. But his successors continued the great traditions. New buildings were constructed for the Science Departments in 1913.

Please be advised that if this piecemeal pasting from other sources continues, I will have no choice but to block your further access to Wikipedia. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:46, 18 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dear Moonriddengirl, I am sorry to trouble. If you do not want me to edit or create new articles in Wikipedia, I will stop doing any edits immediately. Is that what you want. Please give your view, whether I am unfit to write articles in Wikipedia, the so called free encyclopedia.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 04:17, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

I would prefer that you continue contributing but without copying content, otherwise I would have blocked you already. As to your fitness to contribute, I can't opine without understanding why you keep copying content onto Wikipedia from other sources after having been told that this is against our policy and our website's Terms of Use. I explained to you in January 2010 that "you cannot copy text or even closely follow text from another website unless the external website is licensed compatibly". I explained to you in October 2009 that "Text should be written completely in your own words, unless you are briefly quoting material for the reasons and in the way described at the non-free content policy and guideline." You have been blocked in the past, and your contributions are still listed at Contributor Copyright Investigation. Yet here, almost a year later, you are still violating our copyright policy. Why is this? Are you having trouble composing text in your own words? Do you not accept the necessity of doing so? Understanding why may help me better answer your question. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:14, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

K. Rangachari edit

I don't understand why you moved the article to Kadambi Rangachari. Are you aware of Wikipedia rules and regulations, more importantly, Wikipedia:Naming conventions? We don't necessarily use the "complete name" of the subject but only the more commonly-used name. Having said that, I am reverting your edit.-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 16:25, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of R. Ananthanarayan edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on R. Ananthanarayan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
