Rana

edit

Hello Raj, and thank you for voicing your concern on my talk page about Rana. First of all, I have absolutely no problem with adding an English poster of Rana on the article, however, the image you added currently has a permission problem tag on it (see "File:Rajini rana.jpg" on Wikipedia and scroll down). I described this in my edit summary on the article, which I think you have missed. If you can address that permission problem, then surely we can have that poster up on the article. EelamStyleZ (talk) 03:49, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Also, in your message you are implying your concern of Rana's commercial business and success. Do not use Wikipedia as a propoganda or means of promoting something. Wikipedia is an encylopedia, and is used only for educational purposes. Whether the poster is in Tamil, English or Hindi, the purpose is one - visually illustrating the subject. I do agree that the English poster would be more suitable on the English Wikipedia, but do not work here with goal to promote anything. Always keep a neutral point of view. This is just a small warning, but if you get caught misusing Wikipedia to promote anything, you may get official warnings from other editors, and potentially blocked from editing if you continue to keep up that attitude. Please read WP:! and WP:SOAP for further details. Thanks. EelamStyleZ (talk) 16:55, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Robot2

edit

The article Robot2 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no evidence of notability. The references indicate that it is planned, but little more. No substantial coverage. Time for an article if and when it exists and has shown notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:28, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Robot2 for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Robot2 is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robot2 until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:26, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Robot 2

edit

Do not create new articles for movies until shooting has been announced. There is no such movie called "Robot 2", and a sequel to Enthiran has not been confirmed by Sun Pictures, Shankar, or Rajinikanth, the most important people behind it. So do not rush to desperately create articles. They will be deleted quickly. EelamStyleZ (talk) 15:51, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of List of highest grossing Indian films

edit

The article List of highest grossing Indian films has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

None of the figures used in this list matched the previous sources cited. The previous sources fail to meet WP:CIL as they use copyrighted expert estimates rather than accounted figures or statistics and so could not be used to create a complete ranked list of this type. I see little prospect of these problems being addressed in the near future.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of List of highest grossing Indian films

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of highest grossing Indian films, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:11, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Learn Engineering

edit

Hi Raj, you created the same page twice with slightly different versions of the name, one at LearnEngineering and the other at Learn Engineering. I wasn't sure if this was an accident, or if you were trying to cover both versions of the name, but any given topic only gets a single page so I redirected LearnEngineering to the other spelling. That way it can be found either way. JamesG5 (talk) 09:03, 27 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Learn Engineering moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Learn Engineering, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
