:p Glad I got in there quick, then! I looked over your contributions - you're off to a good start! Make sure to provide an adequate edit summary for as many edits as you can, though - it makes life a lot easier for everyone else, and if you don't provide one, people might think you're trying to sneak things past them :) Otherwise, good work, and as I say above, if you have any questions, give me a buzz! riana_dzasta 17:38, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and by the way, there's Special:Newusers for the log of new users. Will (message ) 19:38, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oops, that should be Special:Log/newusers. Will (message ) 20:24, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
No problem. Any other questions, ask me or Riana, or basically anyone. Will (message ) 20:44, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stubs

edit

Hello,

Thank you for your stub tagging. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.

Thanks! Ksbrown 12:42, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

re: Question on my talk page

edit

I am a horrible instructor when it comes to Wikipedia tools. I will just give yout the link: Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation popups. Popups are handy for vandalism and blatant Wikipedia policy violations. They are not for content disputes. Good luck reverting vandalism. Take care! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 12:57, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Clockwork Orange

edit

I noticed those displays for the first time today. The ones outside the barriers at St Enoch appeared to be working. I also used the multi-storey car park at Shields Road for the first time.

Over the last 20+ years whilst I have been using the Subway I get the impression that is it called Clockwork Orange and Subway interchangable by the Wegies. As for a citation, that is definitely the difficult bit. Stewart 21:23, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why Raining girl?

Re: more of the same

edit

Glad your trying to use more specific stub types. I wasn't moaning, it's just I really had to look to find out a list of stubs when I started editing and thought some people may find the link to the list helpful. I quite agree that some articles are only ever going to be a certain length. To tackle stubs that aren't actually stubs there is a wikiproject. If your interested it is called the Stubsensor. Enjoy the editing. :o) Ksbrown 23:50, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Samuel de Champlain

edit

Hi - As you may know, I semi-protected the article yesterday. Just as an idea for the reason - could it be that it's being studied in schools around this time? This is the only concievable reason I can think of (and I don't even know if his history is taught anywhere in the world - not in the UK, at least!) Martinp23 19:49, 21 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have deleted Husonds nasty little insult since it stopped me using, far less contributing to wikipedia for months. if you can't understand why infantile minds would vandalise a page called uranus then you need to get out a bit more. raining girl 15:53, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Phoenix New Times

edit

Removed your prod notice on Phoenix New Times. Former flagship of New Times Media (now Village Voice Media); 38 years of publication as of 2008; award-winning; I could go on, but I think that should suffice. The fact that its free is irrelevant except insofar as they were a pioneer of giving away a reasonably serious newspaper. I would say that if we were to include 20 alternative weeklies in the U.S. this would be on the list; in fact, we probably include well over 100. And, no, I'm not from Phoenix, and I don't even particularly like the company that publishes it (especially since they bought and gutted the Voice). - Jmabel | Talk 23:06, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Molly Conlin

edit

A tag has been placed on Molly Conlin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD Nomination: Molly Conlin (2nd nomination)

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Molly Conlin meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Molly Conlin (2nd nomination). Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last seven days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Eastmain (talk) 02:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
