These are some strange citation choices, as I see no reference to support the statement, "the firm played an important role in negotiating the financial aspects of the resolution of the Iranian hostage crisis. The source merely states: "During the Iranian hostage crisis of 1980 and 1981, he represented the bank, which had made substantial loans to Iran."

I also don't see the figure $81 billion regarding the Exxon merger with Mobile, nor reference to "the largest merger in history at the time" in either of the sources you've added. (Perhaps the latter in is the lengthy SEC document, but I couldn't find it, and you gave no page number. Lindenfall (talk)

@Lindenfall: I removed the sources right away, but I overlooked one when I did that. Went back in and removed the remaining source you are referencing so it should all be resolved now and the information is back in its original state. Thank you! Rainchecker (talk) 19:53, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
