Control Group edit
"To show that behavior is determined only by cognitions, one would have to find a control group consisting of individuals who cannot think. Similarly, to provide empirical support for the argument that behavior is due to environmental consequences alone, one would have the impossible task of forming a control group for which there was no environment.”(latham)
