Image copyright problem with Image:Pardew.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Pardew.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 13:44, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Zidane pic.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Zidane pic.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:09, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi, please do not remove information on the name such as the International Phonetic Alphabet info and the lingustic origins of the name (latin). - Soprani 09:24, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Leeds United A.F.C. edit

The page Leeds United A.F.C. is semi-protected, meaning that editors without account or with very new account cannot edit it. The {{sprotected}} template explains this. It puzzles me that you removed the template twice without giving an explanation. Could you please give your reasons for these edits? -- Jitse Niesen (talk) 12:03, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

You again removed the template without giving any reason. And then the suspiciously similarly named user Rahman9420 did the same. I'm starting to think that you do not want to work with the other people here in building an encyclopaedia. Please either explain your reasons or stop removing the templates, otherwise you will be blocked from contributing. Yours, Jitse Niesen (talk) 00:31, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Could you please stop removing legitimate information from the Leeds United Page? The other tag in the squad information template is there for information such as who the player is on-loan from. The re-direct tag at the top should be there as most people searching for Leeds United Football Club will want information on the club however some will want information on the company that owns the club. This is all legitimate information and several users have reverted your removal of this information so please stop removing the information. Chappy   TC 16:33, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
