User talk:Ragesoss/History of biotechnology

Comments Related to Article edit

Dear Author of Article:

Greetings author! I have read your article and I feel that you should think about the following issues. For one, while I could infer the meaning from the context, I think that you should have provided a definition for the zymotechnology. Additionally, I think that you provide some statistics related to the costs that prohibited biotechnology early on. Finally, at the end of article, while not necessary, I believe that you should provide some of the reasons that the general public came to support biotechnology. I hope that these comments are helpful.

Sincerely, Gilbert

Peer review by Bryan I would make sure that in the intro a mini definition is given to any terms used to describe biotechnology e.g. zymotechnology, or at least a definition of brewing techniques so that the reader understands the reference is to beer making. I like the differentiation in advances and segments within the history of biotech, but as with most sciences there are recent histories that tend to go overlooked untill they get further into the past. You have some fairly recent stuff on biotech and industry, but none on genetically engineering. If you have any info of recent events you might want to through it in just to show that the sect of biotech is not dead or obsolite.
