September 2019 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Jorge Perez Evelyn has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 01:17, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

file seems duplicating same text on talk page, was trying to remove it from talk pageRagazzodeitalia (talk) 01:20, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
It seems that the talk page redirects to the main page which may make it appear that the talk page duplicated content of the main page. I've removed the redirect and added a project banner to the talk page to help avoid any future confusion. Sakura CarteletTalk 01:25, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Jorge Perez Evelyn edit

I've moved Draft:Jorge Perez Evelyn back to draft. It is critical that every component of a biography of a living person is sourced carefully, and not to copies of wikipedia. Please improve the sourcing there, and use the WP:AFC process. Kuru (talk) 12:30, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

thank you for the information provided to perfect the article. It was very helpful. I have replaced the reference to a wikipedia article ( i did not know that it was not allowed) and used an exterior link. I think the article is ready to go, can you please help me to put it back in the mainspace? thanks again. Ragazzodeitalia (talk) 15:12, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
That's correct, we cannot reference our own material. Likewise, we cannot reference copies of our material like you did when you inserted references to "revolvy". On that site, it very clearly indicates the material was copied from here, making it a very obvious unreliable source. Since you've chosen to move the material back into the main article space, we must reference all material in biographies of living persons with reliable sources. I was hoping to give you a little more breathing space to figure out what is permissible and what is not by moving the article to draft, but so be it. I have again removed the mirror, and the rest of the material that is not adequately sourced - I'll go through the rest of the article as I have time and trim it back more. As it is clear you have some kind of relationship with the subject of the article, you may also want to read WP:COI. Kuru (talk) 11:42, 6 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry if I'm not being clear. Do not add any more person information to biographies without explicit sourcing. Adding fake material, like this "signature", which seems to just be the name typed in the standard Aguafina Script font, makes it even more important for you to provide very carefully sourced material. The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.

We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:21, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for response. The IP is 2603.9001.2601.3a8a:0:0:0:0/64 , I think is still blocked. happy holidays Ragazzodeitalia (talk) 20:17, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Presumably you mean 2603:9001:2601:3a8a::/64. Looking. --Yamla (talk) 20:21, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please explain the unblock request at User talk:Camte45 for the confirmed sockpuppet account, Camte45. It looks to me like you were trying to mislead us there. Now is the time to be completely honest with us. I won't hold it against you if you are completely honest, immediately. --Yamla (talk) 20:26, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear Yamla, I am a 72 years old disabled man and to contribute to Wikipedia is a very healthy pastime for me. I am not misleading nobody, I am a good person. Sorry for the confusion. I hope you understand. thank you.
(I do not know who is Camte45)?? Ragazzodeitalia (talk) 20:42, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
You clearly are either directly in control of Camte45 or know who is, the technical evidence was very clear on this point. I'm sorry you didn't take the opportunity I offered you. I will not lift the block on the IP address range. --Yamla (talk) 20:56, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Email edit

You emailed me indicating you were not able to edit because of an IP address block I made, though you forgot to tell me the IP address involved. However, I have verified you are indeed able to edit and have in fact made several edits today. --Yamla (talk) 20:11, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I also received an email. I agree with Yamla - it is very clear from looking at information about your connection to Wikipedia that you're using more than one account. Yamla said "one of the clearest cases I've seen", and I agree. We can see that on many days you edit from one account for a while, then log out of that account and log into a different one, sometimes only a few seconds apart and sometimes many times in a day. When we have asked you about it you swear that you have only this account and don't know the other accounts, but you're using those different accounts to edit the same articles and discussions. That makes it look like you're pretending to be many different people so that it looks like more people support your arguments, and that's not allowed on Wikipedia. If you are honest and own up to it we will be lenient - we want people to edit, after all - but it looks to us like you're lying about what you're up to, and so I don't believe we should trust you. I also am not going to unblock the IP range. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 22:40, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
