Image copyright problem with File:2008 Speedway World Cup (Leszno).jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:2008 Speedway World Cup (Leszno).jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Dates edit

Hi, I noticed that you have been linking some dates at Bolesław Chrobry Tournament recently. This practice is now deprecated. Please see WP:LINKING and WP:MOSNUM. Furthermore, there is an temporary Arbcom injunction on mass linking/delinking of chronological elements. I'm happy to respond to any inquiries you may have about the matter. Thank you for your attention. Ohconfucius (talk) 04:46, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The page has been vandalised. I accidentally marked it for speedy deletion but it has been reverted. Sorry for the trouble.

Voivode edit

There are no governors in Poland; the last one was Hans Frank. Voivodeships are run by voivodes. Please correct your articles accordingly - thanks. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 20:52, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dawno, dawno temu WikiProject Poland przedyskutowal to i od lat uzywamy voivode. Dlatego mamy artykul voivode. Twoj argument ma sense - na simple Wikipedia, a nie na English Wikipedia, gdzie uzywamy trudnych, ale wlasciwych slow :) Jesli sie nie zgadzasz, zapraszam do dyskusji na WP:PWNB. Pozdr, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 06:41, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
PS. Porównaj: Voivodes of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth i General-Governor of Poland. No i oczywiscie: Voivodeships of Poland. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:49, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

SGP Table header with Grand Prix links edit

I have made a possible {{SGP Table}} 2009 header with named links to each Grand Prix at User:PrimeHunter/SGP Table/2009 header. What do you think? Similar for other years could of course be made and {{SGP Table}} could get a year parameter. In order to avoid editing old calls it might also get code to guess the year from country codes in the call. I'm not a template coder so if this is chosen then I hope you are willing to implement it. PrimeHunter (talk) 12:13, 14 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for doing this. It looks good. One small detail: The top row of Template:SGP Table/present has top aligned countries. The bottom row is vertically center aligned which causes the countries to jump a little up and down because the flags have different heights. I suggest to make it look like the top row. Patryk Dudek, Sławomir Musielak i inni edit

Hej. Serdecznie pozdrawiam, pjahr (talk) 06:52, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

SGP Flags edit

I think that the name of title of the race should be represented by the flag and the host city should have the national flag, for example the european grand prix held in poland should use the European flag for the title and the Polish flag next to the city.--Lucy-marie (talk) 18:04, 23 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

The flag of the title should be used where possible and where no flag for the title exists then either no flag or the host country flag should be used. The title should use the Name of the race flag as the city is also in the infobox and that is what should use the Host nation flag if diffrent from the title of the race falg.--Lucy-marie (talk) 08:21, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Antonín Šváb, Jr. edit

I've fixed few typos and added some details about the end of his career. In one of interviews (in Czech) with him it is mentioned he also won the 1st place at the "2003 international MR in Argentine" (my attempt to translate the terminology). I do not know whether it is important enough to be mentioned in the text - I just spotted it when trying to crosscheck the data. Pavel Vozenilek (talk) 20:08, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Looking into the career box on the right side: in the interviews he dominantly mentions Britain (12 years in total, at the beginning and the end club in Exeter plus other clubs in between). He mentions Germany, Poland, Sweden and Argentine only in passing. The box, however, lists only two Polish clubs. Please feel free to modify the article or keep it as it is - I am not expert or fan, I just spotted a Czech name in Special:NewPages and decided to check it.
