Hello! edit

Radnyr I liked what you said in your userpage. I too registered because I wanted to give back to this great community which has immensely helped me for years. I feel silly bringing this up since you've already read and even cited WP:OWNTALK, but I couldn't help repeating that even though deleting is entirely within your prerogative, archiving is preferred. Whoever comes looking for your past conversations will find them either way but archiving

  1. makes it easier to do so and
  2. keeps some editors (who might otherwise) from thinking that you might be trying to hide something, not knowing that nothing is hidden here. (of course thinking that would be their fault, not yours, as it violates WP:AGF   )

Anyways, happy editing! See you around! (P.S. I am new too.) Usedtobecool ✉️  15:58, 2 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hah, thanks for the heads up. These messages have been annoying me for months for feeling like unfinished businesses. I thought about archiving them, but ultimately opted to let them live in the history alone because they're not really either actual discussions nor formal warnings. I almost archived the image check one due its small recordkeeping value, but an archive of a single trivial message is kinda depressing.
The idea of someone taking issue with the removal of messages pertaining an image upload whopping 5 pixels over the guidelines or that time when I was faster at reverting vandalism is pretty amusing, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks again for the help over the Teahouse, and happy editing!— Radnyr (talk) 19:15, 2 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
