Thanks for The Thing (song)

I noticed that you were the primary author on The Thing (song). I just looked it up, and found it good, and wanted to let you know. Thanks! JesseW, the juggling janitor 08:13, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Tex Ritter 1964.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Tex Ritter 1964.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ZooFari 05:41, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: Tense

Hi RadioBroadcast. Thank you for the compliment regarding my user page :). As for your question regarding the tense of television programs no longer airing, I can understand how it can be confusing. I was pretty confused by that guideline myself when I first started working on television series articles. WP:TENSE is a bit unclear, so I invite you to read WP:MOSTV#Lead paragraphs which should be a wee bit clearer. The idea is that even though the series no longer airs and probably will never air again, it should be referred to in the present tense because the show still exists somewhere (in this show's case, the ULCA archives). There was also a discussion regarding the proper use of tense at the Wikiproject Television Style Guideline talk page if you'd like to read that as well (Located here). If you have any more questions or comments, please feel free to contact me again. Pinkadelica 03:46, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
