Speedy deletion nomination of Shigosag edit

Hello Rachael Scott John,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Shigosag for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Successfully creating a new article is the hardest task on Wikipedia. A person will merit an article if there is significant coverage of them in independent reliable sources that show how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. There are also more specific criteria for certain career fields like musicians and politicians. Wikipedia is not for merely telling about a person- this is why your draft was deleted(as an administrator I can still view it) because that's all it did. You may find it helpful to use the new user tutorial and read Your First Article. 331dot (talk) 22:09, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
