First Welcome

Andere Länder, andere Sitten. Hier gibt's also ein halbes Portal zur Begrüßung. Na ja, meine Grüße kommen dafür altmodisch ganz persönlich und ohne jeden Bot daher. ;-) --Schwalbe 19:53, 18 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gruß -- Ra'ike talk de-user 22:33, 18 April 2007 (UTC) and it's training for me, too.Reply
OK, werd mich mühen. ;-) BTW: the training center is right around the corner - Level 1 or Level 2. --Schwalbe 13:10, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, thank you for the advices, I didn't know them. I though want to translate the Systematik der Minerale first. greeting -- Ra'ike talk de-user 17:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello YourEyesOnly, thank you for your nice greeting. I certainly hope, that I can help here, too. But you know, there is a lot of work in de-wikipedia. Be seeing you and best regards -- Ra'ike talk de-user 08:59, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
YEO is kidding. How can he assume, that an admin on de: does not know, how to sign on an english talk page. ;-) --Schwalbe 12:55, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Really?!? I thought, it's his deadly earnest ;-)). -- Ra'ike talk de-user 17:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nickeline

Hi, why do you want to delete a REDIRECT? If Nickeline is a synonyme for Niccolite, then Nickeline should redirect to Niccolite. Or is it the other way around, and you want to make room for the move? --Magnus Manske 13:01, 17 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, I thought, I had explained the problem exactly...but ok, I try it again: Niccolite is not the correct name for that mineral, it's Nickeline. Look at the links (after the Deletion-template). Mindat-search shows that Niccolite is a synonym of Nickeline and the other Webmineral-search points to the Nickeline Mineral Data. In my Edit-comment I wrote: delete to move Niccolite to Nickeline (official mineralname) (I think, that was the mistake. I should write it in the Deletion-Reason, too). Do you understand it now? Sorry, my english isn't the best. It's long time ago, that I learned it. greetings -- Ra'ike talk de-user 16:14, 17 July 2007 (UTC) if there is something wrong written in my sentences, please correct it, so that I can learn it.Reply
Ich denke, wir verstehen uns auch so :-) Und der Artikel ist inzwischen auch verschoben, wunderbar. --Magnus Manske 21:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Man tut, was man kann oder in der en:WP entsprechend you do, what you can ;-) . Wenn ich mich schon bei den Mineralen wie bei de:WP einbringen will, dann auch richtig. Übrigens darf's ruhig auch weiterhin in englisch sein, ich möchte mich ja schließlich auch darin verbessern. Gruß -- Ra'ike talk de-user 22:59, 18 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK, but if you can learn anything from my English remains to be seen ;-) Anyway, you might want to have a look at my minerals and chemicals list of alternative names, if you're into that. --Magnus Manske 17:42, 19 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much :-) . I have it under observation and on my user page now and I think, it could be a really good help for my work with minerals. Best regards -- Ra'ike talk de-user 06:45, 20 July 2007 (UTC) and what using english concernes, the best way is learning by doing, isn't it?Reply

Template:Retired

Hello Stifle, could you change the template-protection to autoconfirmed-protected, so that I can edit there, please? Otherwise you have to write [[de:Vorlage:Deaktiviert]] yourself ;-) greetings -- Ra'ike talk de-user 12:11, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've added that interwiki link in. There was some nonsense vandalism by various users and the template is used by many, so I am not going to unprotect it.
For future reference, please note that it's possible to place {{editprotected}} on the talk page of a protected page which will call an admin's attention to the fact that an edit is required. Thanks! Stifle (talk) 16:47, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ok, thank you for that important info. But I still think, full-protection for that page is overacting. "T:Retired" exists about one year and since then, there were only [1] [2] [3] vandalism-reverts and only against IPs. So imho semi-protection should be enough. However, you'll know, what's the right way. Best regards from Ra'ike talk de-user 08:52, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you!

Thanks for the revert! I don't know why anyone would want to vandalize my page, I haven't really made any enemies here, but thank you for reverting! :) CarpetCrawler (talk) 22:11, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello CarpetCrawler, You're welcome :-) and don't loose any thought of vandalizing like that. It's not to understand. greetings -- Ra'ike talk de-user 22:18, 3 September 2008 (UTC) ...but nevertheless thank you very much for that nice barnstar.Reply

Lollingite

I have not deleted this, because redirects are cheap, and a British user might well search without the "ö", and not even know how to make his keyboard produce it. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:29, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but could you look to the http://www.mindat.org/min-2426.html page, please? There is a list with Synonyms of Löllingite an one of them is "Loellingite", that I sat in the arcticle and which is the correct alternative word (without ö). So there's no need for the wrong synonym Lollingite. greetings -- Ra'ike talk de-user 23:34, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

A little crystal owl for you, Chris :-)
Hello Chris Oxford, thank you for your info and your intention, to use some of my photos. I uploaded the photos just for this purpose ;-)
Best greetings, merry Christmas and a happy New Year for you, too :-) -- Ra'ike talk de-user 13:01, 18 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello!

Wow, what an amazing little owl!

I will place it on my page as a lucky charm.

Great thanks!

All the best.

Coming back.

Hello Ra'ike,

Slowly, but surely I'm coming back to the Wiki space. Recently I found in your list of minerals the picture of Aragonite, which is the way better in quality (clear and without destructing attention shadows), than the one, that I used previously for the illustration of polymorphism in the article Mineralogy. So, I decided to replace it with your perfect picture of Aragonite for the benefit of the article. Just let you know.

A Little Owl is sitting comfortably in/on my page.

All the best. Regards, Chris Oxford. Chris Oxford (talk) 17:19, 30 January 2017 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Chris Oxford (talkcontribs) 17:09, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
