Getting your article approved edit

I saw the declination of your article. Let me offer some advice. Theroadislong rejected my first article, again and again, I felt that he was being unreasonable, too harsh, whereas it was myself that had the problem, low standards, more like not fully understanding the standards, but I heeded his advice, not without resistance and heel dragging and now that article is rated GA (Good article). Theroadislong might seem a harsh task master, you are not the only new editor that he has to deal with. He is an expert article reviewer, knows his stuff and, unbelievably, apparently is able to read through all of the verbiage and find deficiencies. Something I could never do. So heed his words and take corrective action and you will have your article. Also pay attention to conflict of interest, declare yourself. A recent approved article was actually written by the person herself. It started out like an autobiography, she finally declared her conflict of interest, and edited the article such that it was in the voice of wikipedia, the third person, with over 10 references in reliable sources. So it is possible to write an article about yourself, but it requires a lot of quality mentions, in reliable secondary sources, suppression of the ego and a lot of hard work. Best wishes.
