Username

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you.

Incidentally. I am leaving this message as your name was flagged up as being possibly too confusing to remember or type easily if someone is trying to find you. It was flagged at WP:UAA. It hasn't been deemed inappropriate yet, so as of now you don't have to really do anything. If nothing happens then you don't need to worry, if it is deemed that you might need to pick another username we will let you know and show you how to easily change it. I appreciate this all seems like uncecessary hassle and hope you'll work with us to get things sorted easily. SGGH speak! 01:22, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It was a while ago now. I'd imagine it was because of it's length and randomness of its characters can be confusing and/or difficult for other users to type if they want to navigate to your page. Regards, SGGH speak! 20:40, 14 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
