Speedy deletion nomination of User:RRFreeman edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:RRFreeman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Follow Up edit

@Hey man im josh: I recreated the user page with no links because I'm assuming that's why the bot auto-deleted the page. Note: There was no option to contest the nomination RRFreeman (talk) 05:30, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey @RRFreeman, there was no bot involved. I typically review new user pages and nominate them if they violate certain criteria. An admin will then review the nomination, check that it does violate a policy, and then either delete the tag or the page. I don't remember what the issue was with yours, besides U5, but if you did have a lot of social media links, links to your own work, or a fair bit of info that's unrelated to Wikipedia, then that would likely have been why I nominated it.
Looking at your userpage now I see absolutely no violations. I do recommend you read WP:UPGOOD and WP:UPNOT. In short though, if you don't advertise/promote, include only content completely irrelevant to Wikipedia, or go too far with an "about me" without other Wiki related content, you're going to be mostly fine. Ok, thanks. Yeah wasn't much on my page, so must've just been the link to my LinkedIn profile. RRFreeman (talk) 23:13, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
