Speedy deletion nomination of Our World (album)

edit

A tag has been placed on Our World (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 18:27, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of What the World Needs Now Is ...: The Definitive Collection, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.marcogiunco.com/dischi/002748.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 04:06, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello RPFiller, this is a message from an automated bot to inform you that the page you created, You Won't Forget Me: The Complete Liberty Singles (Volume One), has been marked for speedy deletion by User:Doomsdayer520. This has been done because the page is a recently created article that that duplicates an existing English Wikipedia topic (see CSD). If you think the tag was placed in error, please add "{{hangon}}" to the page text, and edit the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. If you have a question about this bot, please ask it at User talk:SDPatrolBot II. If you have a question for the user who tagged the article, see User talk:Doomsdayer520. The Best of Ronnie Dove Volume 2

edit

Hi RPFiller, and welcome back. I saw you added content to the redirect at The Best of Ronnie Dove Volume 2 but you left the code for it to be a redirect ("#REDIRECT" and so on) at the top of the page. I wasn't sure if that was intentional, since leaving that there means it'll continue to redirect to Ronnie Dove rather than being visible as an article. I'm also not convinced that the album meets Wikipedia's notability guideline for albums or the general notability guideline, which is why I made it a redirect two years ago. I was just wondering if you could clarify your intentions and why you think it meets the notability guidelnes? Let me know if you have any questions. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 03:27, 27 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
