Your question about renaming a page

I see that you left a request for help on Myleslong's talk page. While you could perform the actions that you requested yourself, I'm glad that you sought out the help of others. If you look at the history of the page in question it appears that the information you have provided at Master Masons was once on the page Master Mason [1] but was merged into the main Freemasonry article. It is considered good form before reverting changes others have made to discuss it on the appropriate talk page. In this case I'd recommend Talk:Freemasonry. I'm not an expert on Freemasonry, but based on what I see on both pages, the information is best presented in the context of the rest of the Freemasonry article and should not be spun off unless there is alot more to be added to a page at Master Mason(s). —A 07:56, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Can you raise the issue of both the Master Mason page and the Knights Rose Criox page in the talk pages of Freemasonry and Scottish Rite. Both new articles duplicate existing material and before redirecting back to the parent article your views on the content would benefit from being shared, and discussed amongst the active editors in this field. Listing for deletion

Hi there, Raoul. I noticed that you tried to list the article on Joel Esler for speedy deletion as being a vanity page. The problem is that you posted the template on the article's talk page, instead of on the article itself. This means that you're suggesting that the talk page be deleted, but not the article (which is sometimes necessary).

I'm just following the rules that you guys set up. I'm being helpful. I had an University association page (that was older than some of these wikis that I am putting up for deletion, and with more members) and it got deleted. I asked what the difference was between the one you guys wanted to delet and others, and recieved no response, just a deletion... so I'm playing by your rules untill I get a proper explanation. Look, I'm really not here to 'vanadalise'. I'm here to contribute productivly and to use the articles as well. I just cannot understand what the problem was with the wiki-article regarding a University assocition was. I will stop cuz b/c I don't believe that those articles should be deleted, but I also don't believe the one I made should be deleted either. Please offer me an explanation, that's all I ask and figure I should be due. I mean I do contribute quite a bit to wiki and want to continue, but if I am disrespected like this, I take it personally.

I have no idea wghat you're talking about so I can't offer an explanation. i'd suggest contacting someone who had something to do with deleting that association page, but that really has nothign to do wit this and retaliating by marking good apges is what is disrespectful. You marked article for deletion that are clearly not candidates for deletion and you did it knowing that (in bad faith). That's not good. I'm glad to hear you're stopping. That is good. I think it had something to do with notability. He created a page on a college organization (Portugese association of Ryleo sp?) and it was deleted for notability most likely. But what RG is nto seeing is that these are pages on national fraternities you pass Wikipedia:Notability. Please do not vandalize these pages anymore. Thanks --Larsinio

As a rule of thumb for a collegiate group, for single campus organizations, they should be long lasting and relatively well known with known alumni. Skull & Bones at Yale university is an example there. As for Lusophobia, do you believe that the people on Wikipedia would have reacted any differently if this group was for Bulgarians or Koreans at Ryerson? Naraht 17:19, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. List of National laws

Hi there. Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of National laws, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the relevant issues at Talk:List of National laws. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
