 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Doug Weller talk 17:34, 5 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sources for Gadsden flag edit

Which mention "negative liberty", whatever that is? The author of the Shondaland piece is "Matthew M. F. Miller is a freelance writer and author of Dad’s Guide to Pregnancy For Dummies". He surely doesn't meet our criteria at WP:RS and WP:VERIFY. Is one demonstrator enough to source the text?[1]. I'd say no. That leaves the tv station.

But the main problem isn't sources, since I think those can be found. The main problem is the "lead" which should be a summary of the main points of the article, see WP:LEAD. The article has 7 sections on modern uses, none of them mention individualism or of course negative liberty. So it doesn't belong in the lead at all. Doug Weller talk 17:40, 5 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
