File permission problem with File:RADOFINS and ECNALI Original Logo.png

LZ 129 Hindenburg citation (Helium Act of 1927)

You left a message on my talk page concerning my reversion of the cite you added to LZ 129 Hindenburg. To keep the discussion in one place, I replied there.

For this logo you should say the source in a bit more detail. Was it sent to you from the "company"? Can you name the position of the person - eg marketing director? That will add credibility. Really this could be marked PD-simple to avoid license problems, which I have done. If you want to use it under fair use there would need to be an article to use it on, rather than a user page. If people send you their copyrighted material for you to reuse, they must send a written license, otherwise it is a copyright infringement for you to copy it. For WIkipedia we need something very similar to CC-BY-SA-3.0 if the person has a choice. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:04, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
