Very nice picture. Got any more? You may want to check out WP:FP and WP:FPC. -Ravedave (help name my baby) 05:33, 13 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the interest! I do; see http://reidster.net/trips/ for samples, though those pages are biased towards photos with people I know in them, which is probably not so appropriate for Wikipedia use. (The particular report this one would fall under is still pending ATM, though.) I'd be happy to grant free licenses on most of the images on those pages that I own, provided that uploaders check with me first. As for the Featured Pics, I'm not going to nominate any of my own stuff, but I certainly won't oppose any such nominations. :) --R27182818 05:46, 13 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mav forgot to mention above in his CV that he was also one of the top five most awesome people onwiki from early 2002-present.

MoinMoin

edit

Hello R27182818! You removed the {{notability}} tag from the MoinMoin article stating that it is notable. The tag doesn't mean the subject isn't notable - it means the article currently does not explain why the subject is notable, and asks for someone knowledgeable about the topic to improve the article so it does just that. Does that make sense? fish&karate 10:09, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Danah Boyd

Please be careful when reverting comments left on talk pages, as you did here. While it appears Bellagio99 (inadvertently?) messed up your signatures, your revert also deleted her/his comments. (I put them back.) Thanks. --ZimZalaBim talk 20:42, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I suppose I should have been more careful; that's at least the third time that's happened, though. It's very frustrating. I did leave him a note on his talk page. Thanks for restoring them. --R27182818 (talk) 14:56, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:Research last call for cleanup before an RFC

edit

Hey Reid. PiperNigrum and myself are about to start the process of submitting WP:Research for review by the community and I'm making one last call for cleanup and input. Please give the article a careful read if you have a chance. Unless major flaws are discovered, we'll be adding the {{rfc}} template to the talk page to start the process on March 2nd. That's one week from this posting. --EpochFail(talk|work) 22:37, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

WP:Research policy RFC: Rational

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
