Shortcuts

A shortcut is a redirect that assigns an abbreviated title to a page in Wikipedia's behind-the-scenes namespaces. This lets you get to a page with fewer keystrokes.

Shortcuts to pages in the Wikipedia namespace start with "WP:". For example, the shortcut to Wikipedia:Department directory is WP:DIR.

When a page has one or more shortcuts to it, those shortcuts should be displayed on that page using the shortcut template.

To add this auto-updating template to your user page, use {{totd}}

August 2018 edit

  Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, One More Chance (Michael Jackson song), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. February 2019 edit

  Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bleach (Nirvana album), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Robvanvee 15:48, 1 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

April 2019 edit

  Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Dome (album). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Robvanvee 05:46, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Halstead book cites edit

In this edit you cited the Halstead book, page 8. You wrote that the song "Best of Joy" was "Written and recorded in 1990... Failed to make the Dangerous album... Reworked in 1997 during the early Invincible sessions... Failed to make the Invincible album... Reworked again in 2008... 2008 version was released in 2010 on the Michael album, previous versions are still unreleased."

The problem here is that Halstead talks about the song "Best of Joy" on page 35, not page 8. Halstead says very little about this song: "Written by Michael, and included on Michael's posthumous 2010 album, Michael, produced by Michael and Theron 'Neff-U' Feemster, and co-produced by Brad Buxer. This was one of the last songs Michael worked on prior to his passing – he had planned to unveil it during his 'This Is It' concerts."

Your text doesn't have any of this, except for the Michael release in 2010. Can you explain why you wrote things that are not found in the source?

Also, the song has been released, so it should not have been added to the list of unreleased songs. Binksternet (talk) 19:09, 10 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced content edit
