Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Erdős–Bacon number, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 13:46, 27 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ah, sorry. This came from a misreading of the Talk Page Guidelines. I thought it said that you could make minor edits to comments that don't change the meaning as long as you noted that you had done so. Rereading, I see that that was under the "Own Comments" section not the "Others' Comments" section. When I first read it, I didn't realize those separate sections existed. Since I thought I was working in one of the areas the policy specifically made an exception for, I went ahead and tried it, knowing it could just be reverted if it were wrong.--98.92.73.169 (talk) 23:19, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
