Speedy deletion of Livadia (yacht) edit
A tag has been placed on Livadia (yacht) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Hi, thanks for your contributions. I think you might be wondering why I've taken off some of the 'see also' sections you've been adding to insert the link to the 'ships built in Govan' section. The see also sections should be directly relevant to the ship in question and should be used sparingly. Where possible they should be incorporated into the text. Other peripheral areas of interest can be covered with categories, such as the 'Govan built ships' category you created. You would perhaps argue that a link to a list of other ships built in the same location is relevant, but this duplicates unnecessarily the categories, and adds a section that should only be there to include things that relate directly to the subject of the article, but that have not been included in the text. And please be careful with your edit summaries, Wikipedia:No personal attacks, Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:Assume good faith are of relevance here. Calling other users stalkers and telling them to get a life is a quick way to get a block. Benea (talk) 23:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
