Jaynez

Hi QuietHere, Sorry for offending you re: WP:BEFORE - my wording was too blunt and I apologize for that; maybe we are based in different geographic zones and that affected our respective search results? (I'm in the US and currently traveling in the Southwest.) And thank you for catching my error re: Grammy––>Nammy Award, I wasn't being deceptive, as it was printed as Grammy in the Navajo-Hopi Observer newspaper[1] and I did not see a retraction. I didn't think to check the primary source for Grammys. Thanks for withdrawing the nom, I was fine with letting the AfD play out naturally for the community to decide. I'll continue to improve the article based on what I can find about him....just now found something in the Heard Museum's Native American Artists Resource Collection. Good to meet you here, and happy editing. Your music contributions are great! Netherzone (talk) 14:05, 17 May 2023 (UTC)

@Netherzone Thank you for your apology, though I also apologize as my response was probably a bit harsher than necessary. And thank you for continuing to improve the article; that's always the best possible outcome of an AfD in my opinion. I did see the NHO Grammy error; no clue how they managed it but it's always good to double-check things like that. Happy editing to you as well! Precious

raise awareness for music

Thank you for quality articles such as Marisa Anderson, Witch Egg, Adrian Quesada and Stoned Cold Country, for gnomish tasks such as adding specific categories and discussing redirects, for "Always glad to help where I can", - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

You are recipient no. 2853 of Precious, a prize of QAI. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:08, 19 May 2023 (UTC)

Thank you @Gerda Arendt, much appreciated! Though I should note that Adrian Quesada is not my article. I made it a redirect to his band Black Pumas but it has since been converted to a full article by JSFarman and further improved by them and Mariaarriega among others, so those folks deserve the credit for that one. Thank you for the clarification, and recommendation, and modesty. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:17, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
