Metacritic album prose

Wikipedia is not shaped by the "preferences" of article creators who do not own the page. The information that the source explicitly states is already available. Unlike the more accurate Template:MC film, which actually uses what the source states, I'm not sure why there was a need to make a bad change for this one and how the alleged consensus was created for it, but there is no valid reason why this limiting template should be used instead of the edit I made. Even the template itself looks incomplete ("Possible edits in the future"?). ภץאคгöร 09:26, 8 July 2023 (UTC)

@Nyxaros I really can't help you here. I know about page ownership just as much as you know about STYLERET. We're at an impasse. I'm glad you cut off the would-be edit war by coming here, but I don't see this conversation as being any more productive than the back-and-forth we've already had. I already made my point. Your problem is with Template:Metacritic album prose, not with me. That template has a talk page which you can use to take up your complaints. I didn't make the template so I can't be of service there. And heck, maybe you're right that the language needs changing (though I still don't really think so), but you'll have a much easier time gathering consensus than battling over a single article out of the many that use it. Best of luck with that. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 10:17, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
You really just wrote this message after "this is what I prefer." ภץאคгöร 14:00, 8 July 2023 (UTC)

Culinary habits of primates

On first glance, your hatnote seemed patently bizarre, but after I thought about how readers could be led astray by how these topics appear in search, I can easily see why it is necessary. Thank you for taking that step to improve our readability! Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 04:59, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

Reference

Exactly what I have been doing actually but this one was missed. There are currently over 400 that I am removing so may have missed a few more. CNMall41 (talk) 16:52, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

Actually, many have been tagged with "citation needed" unless a source isn't required or it is already supported by another inline source. Cheers!--CNMall41 (talk) 16:54, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

Showgirls soundtrack merge

Hello, just letting you know that I merged the Showgirls soundtrack article into the Music section of Showgirls' main article as proposed. It was my first time merging so I hope I did it correctly. Spectrallights (talk) 23:41, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Marisa Anderson

The article Marisa Anderson you nominated as a good article has passed  ; see Talk:Marisa Anderson for comments about the article, and Talk:Marisa Anderson/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility.
