We started talking about this draft on IRC channel #wikipedia-en-help but I wasn't able to stay.
I wonder if 'unionist' is the best disambiguator. It will be up to the accepting reviewer to decide, no need for you to change it.
It would be helpful if you learned how to use a source more than once, so it does not show up multiple times in the ref list. See WP:NAMEDREFS. It would also be helpful to use the {{cite news}} template consistently - those big bare URLs make everyone work harder.
The obituary you cited as ref 1 to "Default" has an identified - but connected - author and appears on a website named Lawfare run by Goldsmith. The citation should include that information.
Normally, articles attributed to "staff" as in ref 2 are discounted as not having an identified author. Maybe that's not a problem in this case.
DocumentCloud is not a publisher, really. The provenance of this memorandum needs more documentation if it is to be used. We see from other sources that the Detroit Free Press had made the full text of the Hoffex memorandum available, so we need to see a better tie between the Freep and the document and whatever claim there is to support its authenticity as an FBI document.
When citing the author of a newspaper article, you need to extract the actual name from the byline so you don't get ridiculous renderings like the one in ref 5.
There's a template named {{rp}} that you can use to add specific page numbers footnotes for a book that you wish to cite multiple times.
Ref 18 from Esquire is a problem. It's quoting something from the sub-headline of the article that does not appear anywhere in the article. As we all should know, editors write headlines, not reporters, so this is not a good source for that quotation. In addition, the pronoun "He" in the second sentence is too far from its antecedent, with two other male names in between. It would be best to repeat O'Brien's name at that point.
There may be enough substance in the mentions in the NYT about O'Brien to meet the notability criteria. I'm not sure it's a certainty, but cleaning up the reference citations as I've suggested should make it easier for a reviewer to make the determination. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 04:39, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot! How can I "officially" link to my new page. I made 2 edits and linked to it, without getting an "official" notification. Qstor2 (talk) 13:07, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think you will only get notifications if other people link to a page you started, that is how it works for me. TSventon (talk) 13:35, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Image of cover of dvd.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Image of cover of dvd.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 19:59, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Image of cover of dvd.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Image of cover of dvd.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:25, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
