editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Catalan Atlas flags
editHi Quairon, here are the actual flags Kadoi [1] is referring to as potential Timurid candidates. पाटलिपुत्र (Pataliputra) (talk) 09:52, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
I have developped a paragraph about Timur's flag [2]. Overall, I think that the flag in the infobox is wrong (it is not even from the Catalan Atlas), and is original research. I think we should remove it. Comments welcome. पाटलिपुत्र (Pataliputra) (talk) 15:39, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Indonesian occupation of East Timor into Gerald Ford. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 20:55, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
Bengali language in Sierra Leone
editPlease see Talk:Sierra Leone#Bangla language and earlier discussions to understand why consensus is that Bengali should not be listed as an official language of Sierra Leone. --Worldbruce (talk) 10:47, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 16
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of official languages by country and territory, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mehri. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 16 June 2023 (UTC)

Mexico
editI've reverted your edit as it contradicts the UN document which explicitly states Mexico as having recognized Palestine, even giving us a date. Semsûrî (talk) 13:28, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
Verifiability
editPlease review Wikipedia:Verifiability. This edit summary of yours indicates that you do not understand this core policy. It is the editor's responsibility to cite reliable sources that explicitly support content added to Wikipedia, not for other editors to provide sources that disprove it. Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
Move blocked
editHi Qhairun. I've blocked you from moving pages for a period of 24 hours for move-warring an article related to a contentious topic. Isabelle Belato 🏳🌈 13:40, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
Hi Qhairun ,
In the WP:ARBPIA topic area, editors are only allowed to make a single revert within a 24 hour period.
You have made five. Please self-revert all that you can to bring yourself back into compliance, and please be more careful in the future:
