You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Freddie Mercury. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Fred the Oyster (talk) 00:56, 28 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. You were advised to stop adding that content without discussing it on the Talk page; you haven't stopped, and you haven't discussed it. Therefore, go you must. Rodhullandemu

Per a discussion here, I've modified your block to expire 48 hours from now, and clarified that it was not due to vandalism, but due to edit warring, that you were blocked. Indeed, if you can assure us that you will stop reverting to your preferred wording at Freddy Mercury unless there is consensus for it on the article talk page, you can be unblocked right now; just use {{unblock}}. However, if you continue simply reverting with no discussion after the block expires, then it will probably be re-instated to indefinite again. We can always use new collaborative editors, so I hope you chose the first.

Please read your first message above for more information on the edit warring policy, and the links below for more info on editing in general. Thanks. --Floquenbeam (talk) 11:09, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
