I am responding to my fellow wikians who asked the question on how I posted this message for everyone to read. I simply went into my talk page and posted this message. I would be interested in getting insight from other on how they feel thier experience with studying African-American History is going so far. I am experiencing a lot of mixed emotions concerning the material that I am recieving. I am in need of a postive outlet to exchange feelings on issues arising from the mistreatment of my culture. Is there anyone else out there that is feeling extremely frustrated with the truth of the matter? Looking for only postive responses on how to educate ourselves even further. I believe that education is a vital stepping stone to any one man's dream of success. Looking forward to hearing from everyone soon.P2andwilliams@yahoo.com 23:04, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edit edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We are very glad you are here, and hope you enjoy the place. Your recent edit to the Toledo, Ohio page was in caps, and was not sourced. That breaks two very important rules here at Wikipedia. Please see W:MoS and W:NPOV. I have wikified your edit, and have made it neutral in terms of point of view. These are two cornerstone articles of Wikipedia which are vital for peaceful editing. Other articles I would encurage you to read are:

Also, it mentions on your userpage that you are interested in discussion. Please note, Wikipedia is not a post, blog, or webhosting service, and should not be used as such. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome, I'm glad your here! --wpktsfs 00:02, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I thank you for correcting the mistakes i have made to toledo, ohio. I was not sure that i had actually done an edit, but thanks for correcting the problem
I fixed your comment above. You tried to indent by adding two spaces. In Wikipedia, you indent by adding a colon,":". Also, please remember to sign your posts on any talk page by adding --~~~~. Regards, -wpktsfs 18:45, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your signature edit

You may not want to include your email address in your signature. Wikipedia is a popular site and is often targeted by email harvesters. Putting your address on pages leaves you open for spam. In Special:Preferences, you can set an email address so that users who wish to email you can just click on the "E-mail this user" link in the toolbox pane when they are on your user or usertalk pages. If you do want your email visible, change it to a form like: "name (at) isp (dot) com" which isn't picked up by email address scanners. Also, please don't sign articles that you wrote as you did here.

P.S. I fixed up ECOA for you. You may want to review some of WP:MOS for info on how to write articles in the preferred style. Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 00:08, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Keith Dressel edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Keith Dressel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
