1. You can't use fair use images for identifying the singer if they're alive. Also, you can't use album covers in an article unless you list the album's contents too (see what I did at Jeff Knight as an example). 2. MySpace can't be used as a reference, but it can be used as an external link. 3. Usually musical categories are "American [genre] singers" or "American [genre] singer-songwriters". 4 and 5. It needs more sources mainly, and a longer intro to summarize the article. I don't know if any other sources are present. Anything biographical would be nice, like a news article or something explicitly about him. Print sources can be used too. 5 1/2. Yes, you can include individual contributions to compilations.
