192.245.50.63 (talk) 17:17, 21 September 2017 (UTC) I was trying to remove a claim on the wikipedia page on Steven Miller that says "Miller has on multiple occasions made false or unsubstantiated claims regarding public policy." due to the fact that it doesn't say what the claims even were and just trying to immediately discredit the reader because the author doesn't like him

209.203.160.97 (talk) 21:33, 21 September 2017 (UTC) hello! I think the AMILLENNIAL edit I did was in reference to Messianic Jews being largely amillennial in their eschatology. A more accurate statement would be some, or even a few. The phrase "many Messianic Jews" isn't really accurate.

I think changing it to "some" would have been appropriate. You'd definitely want to reach consensus on the talk page before removing the statement all together, though. PureRED | talk to me | 21:36, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Dr. Josef M. Miller

A tag has been placed on Dr. Josef M. Miller requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Request to remove COI template

Hello , I have been asked on behalf of Mr. Sanjiv Mehta to correct his article- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanjiv_Mehta_(Indian_businessman) wherein you had originally assigned the COI template. The edit request template got declined and was suggested on the talk page to ask you to remove the template. An earnest request to remove the Advert and COI template. Thanks.--Faizanmqs (talk) 07:31, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Faizanmqs The article is too promotional, hence the advert tag. For example, the phrase, "he navigated the disruptions arising out of the Arab Spring". Surely that would apply to any businessman in such a role. And you need to declare your own conflict of interest. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Edwardx (talk) 11:46, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of File:Kylefloyduserpic.png

The file File:Kylefloyduserpic.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

Your revert concerning Dental Degree

The problem would seem to be that we most probably shouldn't presume or assume that users know and/or understand what, specifically, needs to have a separate proper citation and what doesn't (particularly where we shouldn't encourage overtly multiplicous use of the same reference to establish different points of citation within the context of WP:POV, etc.) - hence, I am of the opinion that citation needed tags should be used in a manner that is particularly clear as to identify each specific fact, allegation, or other material that needs a separate proper citation. If this is the incorrect way to go about it, please enlighten me on the proper WP policies and the specific templates that should be used to accomplish the well-intentioned goal, there. 98.178.191.34 (talk) 23:05, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

Then discuss that opinion on the talk page. The article is already marked with a "Citation Needed" maintenance tag. PureRED | talk to me | 23:07, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

"Please be kind, there's a human behind the username."

Great advice! It would also be nice if people reverted with more care, and with a rationale that actually addresses the merits/lack of merits of the edit, than whatever rote screed you said when you reverted me, which was actually quite rude, come to think of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1012:B020:44F:89E5:3DFE:6524:9476 (talk) 03:24, 29 April 2022 (UTC)

If the default WP warning templates are something you consider rude, I hate to break it to you, but you're going to be seeing a lot of 'em. You clearly have strong opinions on whatever topic was reverted--and that's great--but removing well sourced content because you disagree with it isn't how this place works. I'd encourage you to contribute to the article's talk page if you have potentially contentious items to add and have concerns about them being reverted.
This will be the final response from me in this thread. Have a great evening! PureRED | talk to me | 03:29, 29 April 2022 (UTC)

Ah, my apologies if that's the case. Just be sure to add an edit summary when removing content blocks in separate edits. Hi, I’m not sure why you keep adding information that isn’t relevant to Pedro Pascal? Pedro was never involved with what happened within his dad’s career and also sharing the details surrounding his mother’s death which is private unsourced information is deeply disrespectful.

Everything else about Lux and other members of his family that has been publicly discussed can be included as he shared it or gave permission but the above mentioned pieces aren’t relevant and should be removed 🤷🏼‍♀️ Luckypascal (talk) 06:12, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
