Your Request for adminship
I have closed this per WP:SNOW, as it had little to no chance at passing at this time. Please resume your efforts, and take the constructive criticism of the opposition, and perhaps try again some time in the future. Regards, -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 05:04, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Don't take it too hard. That you aren't found, at the moment, to be suitable for adminship does not mean that your contribs aren't valued. Not everyone is or needs to be an administrator, and most content and improvements by far have come from non-admins. Avruch T 05:14, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi
Why are you vandalizing today's FA? --Bongwarrior (talk) 05:48, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

I wasn't serious....
{{unblock|I may have taken out my frustration in a careless lack of judgment and made a stupid remark, but that's no reason to kick an (almost always) well-intentioned, experienced user. I wasn't expecting it to actually happen when I asked for it, especially hours after the whole thing and no final warning. Pumpmeup 08:53, 1 March 2008 (UTC)}}

An indicator of the ridiculousness of this decision is here. Pumpmeup 09:23, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Wikiproject Kayaking Articles
I have a few new articles in mind which I am willing to create for the project, but there is a snag. At least one of the articles (that it to say, I only know of one, but I haven't tried to extensively research the others yet) doesn't have a website, book, or any sort of official published source. The article in question is about a kayaking club - is the use of club records acceptable? TheMoridian 11:13, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Kill All: The Rarities Collection
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kill All: The Rarities Collection, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfC news
Dear AfC participant,
- Msgj and Tnxman307 are organising the AfC challenge! It's a little competition to help improve some of the articles created through AfC and we are hoping that everyone will get involved. For level 1, you just need to bring a stub up to Start-class. Level 2 is improving a Start-class article to C-class. And so on. To get involved or for more information please see the competition page.
- Those of you who haven't reviewed an article recently might not have noticed the new process that was implemented this year. Reviewing articles is now more enjoyable than ever :) You might like to give it a try. All articles waiting for review are in Category:Pending Afc requests. (Please read the updated instructions.)
- Please consider adding {{AFC status}} to your userpage to keep track of the number of articles waiting for review. At the time of writing we are officially backlogged, so help is needed!
- There is currently a proposal to bring the Images for upload process under the umbrella of WikiProject Articles for creation. The rationale is that both processes are designed to allow unregistered users to take part more fully in Wikipedia, and partipants in each process can probably help each other.
If you no longer wish to receive messages from WikiProject Articles for creation, please remove your name from this list. Thank you.
Orphaned non-free media (File:Tgc crest.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Tgc crest.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Message regarding your use of the No Multi License Template
In case you are not aware, the Wikimedia Foundation has proposed that the copyright licensing terms on the wikis operated by the WMF – including Wikipedia – be changed to include the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license in addition to the current GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) as allowed by version 1.3 of the GFDL. The community has approved this change with 75.8% in favor, and on June 15, 2009, the change will take effect.
You currently have {{NoMultiLicense}} on your user or user talk page, which states that your edits are licensed under the GFDL only. On or before June 15, this template will be changed to reflect Wikipedia's new licensing terms. If you accept the licensing change, you do not need to do anything (and feel free to remove this message); if you do not accept it, we regret that you will no longer be able to contribute to the encyclopedia. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#NoMultiLicense template if you have any comments.

Speedy deletion declined: The Subway Diet
Hello Pumpmeup, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of The Subway Diet - a page you tagged - because: spammy, maybe, but not unambiguously so. Topic is legitimate and sourced to reliable sources. Rewrite or use WP:AFD instead. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. SoWhy 11:03, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
