Your edit to Bookkeeping

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Bookkeeping do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Kuru talk 23:40, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regarding edits to Spanish moss

edit

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Pub4you! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule nature-video-for-you\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 09:23, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and will be removed. Thanks. Shadowbot 09:25, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I see you have deleted some links pointing to other sites. May I ask you to read WP:POINT as well? Please do not disrupt wikipedia with your edits. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:03, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Dirk, hmm, lets see. When you remove an external link it's good, when somebody else does EXACTLY the same thing, it's bad. Please see my policy on goofy logic.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Pub4you (talkcontribs)

Goofy logic: You were spamming a link while you have a conflict of interest, which resulted in your links being removed, can you prove me that the other links got spammed onto the pages, or that the user(s) that added those links have a conflict of interest? If so, then we will remove those as well (you can make your case here, you might notice that there is already a section with your links there). Please review the guidelines and policies linked in the welcome message on your page. Thank you, have a nice day. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:20, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok Dirk, you win.

I came here to serve Wikipedia users. I can't find an interest in that topic in any of your notes to me.

You're not arguing with me Dirk, you're arguing with 75-100 people who clicked on the video links, and watched the videos. Thanks to you, they will no longer be able to do this. If you cared about what users want, you'd be tracking their behavior, and basing your decisions on their votes.

But you're not interested. All you seem to care about is, oh my God!, a content contributor might benefit in some way! That would be horrible, must be avoided at all costs!

You've steadfastedly ignored every attempt to have a thoughtful conversation about the multimedia future of Wikipedia.

When I ask if you think users care a bit about who inserted a link, you go mysteriously silent.

You're working so hard on building the past Dirk, that you don't see the coming future that will soon sweep all your work away.

Add me to your precious spammers list, kill my account, block my IP address, sue me, call in the Marines, do what you gotta do.

You win, I'm gone...
