Your additions to List of tools for static code analysis

edit

Hi. I've removed your additions to List of tools for static code analysis because they violate our policies on external link spamming. In order for a tool to be included on that page, it has to have its own article on Wikipedia. We don't allow external links to the products' sites because that would turn Wiki into a linkfarm which we don't want. Before you readd the text, please consider the policies. Thanks. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 19:14, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, don't readd it to the page. Moving text around between articles doesn't mean that the text can circumvent the rules. If you're moving text from another list page, then that page suffers from the same problems as well and should be cleaned up. You're more than welcome to do the merge, but in this case, merging means not including the stuff that violates policy. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 19:40, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
