Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Strobilus (talk) 20:15, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Calexico has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bshortandsweetnyc\.com' (link(s): http://www.shortandsweetnyc.com/2008/09/interview-calexico.html) .

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Request reason:

Please unblock me. I'm a real person who reads this site regularly and being that they have interviews on artists, I don't see why it should be a problem to add these links to the artists wiki pages so other readers can find and read these interviews too.

Decline reason:

You have been warned, and now blocked, yet you still assert that what you were doing was right -- it only follows that once unblocked you would continue to do so, which is obviously not acceptable (otherwise you wouldn't have been blocked in the first place). — Gutza T T+ 19:25, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
