Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Found object, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. I undid your revision revision 1084289861 at Found object to remove original research/synthesis which is not allowed in the encyclopedia. See WP:OR. The first citation is false as the ISBN points to another book. The second citation, Miwon Kwon's book, does not use the words "found object" at all in the entire book. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and all content must be verifiable WP:V, we can't just make things up because we have a theory or belief or reaction to them. Please learn more about our guidelines and policies on what is and is not appropriate for inclusion. Thank you. Netherzone (talk) 14:11, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, PsychoticInv. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Performance art, Site-specific art, Found object, and other articles, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.

What is your connection to Paul Winthur? I noticed you have adding original research/synthesis to several articles and included a "citation" to a book he supposedly authored, however the book does not seem to exist. Also what is your connection to this that you added to an article: http://94.255.199.212/PsychoticInverse/ War Declaration (Ladonia)? There seems to be a connection to your username. Please understand that the encyclopedia is not a venue to add your own opinions or original research or a platform for promotion or advocacy. These types of contributions might be seen as spam WP:CITESPAM. Please disclose if you have a conflict of interest, as there is an appropriate way to disclose this information per wikipedia policies and guidlines. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Found art hall

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Found art hall, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
