"trichome"

edit

While it's a stunning picture of marijuana, it's a really sucky picture of trichomes at the thumbnail resolution. Since you took the photo yourself, why don't you crop out a small section that shows the trichomes well (upload as a separate image) so that the thumbnail on the article page won't just look like a fuzzy plant. If you're not interested, I'll do it myself.--Curtis Clark (talk) 23:35, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Perfect. Thanks.--Curtis Clark (talk) 05:01, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bloodshot eye picture

Thanks for adding the picture of, presumably your, bloodshot eye to the effects of cannabis article. Consider joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Cannabis, if you've not already. Dmarquard (talk) 17:59, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

THe problem with that picture is that it's obviously not a free image. Per WP:NFCC, fair-use images are not allowed for BLPs. Blueboy96 23:16, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Skeleton tarantula

edit

Hi. I've reverted your change of image at Skeleton tarantula, as the previous photo looks to me to be sharper and with better depth of field - you can see the abdominal hairs a lot more clearly, for example. (I'm must disclose that the earlier photo is mine, but I didn't revert simply because of that). -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:07, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ooh, great new photo! And a very nice specimen too - is she yours? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:57, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes he is mine indeed. Psychonaught (talk) 18:30, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh, a male. The one I had was a female, as far as I could tell - but sadly she died a couple of years ago. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:32, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh that's too bad was it during molt or what, I wonder what happened just old age perhaps. Supposedly the females have a larger abdomen. Psychonaught (talk) 18:35, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

It was right after a moult - the moult looked to have gone ok, but I guess something was wrong it -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:13, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

How tragic, ya molting is as dangerous as child birth, perhaps even more risky in fact. Well it happens to even the healthiest of Ts. If you can keep one alive though, it can last decades. They make the best pets, low upkeep, evolving exoskeleton/territory, and they last a long time. Psychonaught (talk) 20:38, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
