Speedy deletion nomination of Koran and Christians edit

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at Koran and Christians edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with Koran and Christians. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 10:34, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Undeletion request edit

The request for undeletion you posted at WP:UNDELETE was blank, so I removed it. Please feel feel to try again, but this time make sure to put the name of the page when want restored after "page=" and the reason for your request after "reason=". --ThaddeusB (talk) 13:56, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

See below the deleted content. I would tend to agree, it seems to be original research or synthesize of existing material and in essay form, thus, not acceptable for Wikipedia. –xenotalk 16:11, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Texts from the Koran put Christians, Jews, and others in a separate category than that of Muslims. This other classification has served in the abandonment of religions, cultures, and languages in lands conquered by Islam. Many of these lands were quickly invaded after Islam's birth in the seventh century; which includes the Christian Holy Places in Israel/Judea (Roman province of Palestine).

Non-Muslims are second class inhabitants of the land and were subject to special taxes. Islam and Arab culture, including the language, are considered to be premier within the Muslim world. Converts usually change their names to Arabic names and learn to read Arabic. This teaching of superiority is not usually discussed in Western society. The Christian Books of the Bible are mentioned in the Koran but is considered to have been tainted and subject to change. Muslims consider Jesus of the Book to be a prophet.

Samples of Quotes from books of the Koran

The Family of Imran [3.67] Ibrahim was not a Jew nor a Christian but he was (an) upright (man), a Muslim, and he was not one of the polytheists.

The Dinner Table [5.51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

The Immunity [9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

The Cow [2.120] And the Jews will not be pleased with you, nor the Christians until you follow their religion. Say: Surely Allah's guidance, that is the (true) guidance. And if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have no guardian from Allah, nor any helper.
