Prolumbo, I saw your message at Otterathome's talk page and I believe I can cast some light here. The editor has an aversion to Know Your Meme and removes links to it; forgetting that not everyone is aware that it is regarded as an unreliable source, they tend to use an abbreviated edit summary that, without context, is not very clear. That said, I don't think the article needs that external link, since it is a generally unreliable source, and the article already has multiple external links in addition to references.
By the way, I wondered who had left the note, and looked in the history to find out; I was going to give you a belated welcome template, but I see someone already did welcome you, and that someone also pointed out to you that you need to sign your comments on talk pages, either by typing 4 tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (sometimes it looks like a pen or a pencil, sometimes like a scribble).
