I can help with the article on A Bulla

He is a very elusive character, but there are a series of secondary sources about him that help us understand his work. I can see that you have already collected an extensive series of links. I did do a study on him and despite all my efforts, I could not even get in touch with him. I managed to contact him through his college but he declined to be interviewed. I think he sees himself as far too serious a man of letters to engage with publicity on the media, therefore, we will not have his own points of views on his work, but there are plenty of scholars who have explored his work. What I know for sure is that he can read 8 ancient languages, that he refused to defend his PhD because it was on a field which he regarded as an academic trend imposed on him, while he had wished to write a PhD on Joyce or something (I'm not sure about the last detail). This is mainly academic vox populi though. His private life is particularly mysterious, but I suppose the article should focus on his literary achievements? Other online encyclopedias, including the Britannica, if I'm not mistaken, already have articles on him, so it shouldn't be hard to put one together. He seems to be a more popular writer than I thought, Author's den scores the popularity of its articles, and despite it being a poetry article, therefore a far less popular filed than many others, it scores really highly in terms of internet hits. Let me know if you want me to collaborate. I do have a spare copy of one of his books, if you want me to send it to you, but they are also available in shops and online, even pirate copies. Even there, no picture of him on the back page.

You may wish to contact his school's reception explaining you wish to have information for an article on him in an encyclopedia, therefore a factual text, because i think he refused to be interviewed by me because I was seeking a citical commentary on his work. The current references and awards list is copied from The Heir Trilogy for the convenience of the knowledge and links. We can rework them later so they aren't exactly the same in the actual article. Depends on how you look at it. Maybe I should check notability guidelines. Obviously the books have been well received by the literary community, so that kind of makes them notable. Also, you are allowed to write a plot synopsis based off the book. This is annoying! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 03:25, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
