MotD

Hello! It seems I haven't yet managed to come up with a reason for posting here other than MotD, but oh well... Anyways, a motto was recently approved for Wikipedia's birthday. However, an alternative had been proposed, but the alternative got hardly any discussion. As this day is rather important, I think it would be good if all options are discussed, so that we can make sure we have what we feel is best. We still have time to discuss it, so any comments you could make would be a great help! ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 00:15, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Done. Have I ever told you what an amazing project coordinator you are for those of us who are lazy? :P thanks, PrincessofLlyr royal court 03:35, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
When did I become a coordinator? :) Just to be clear, were you supporting that over the currently approved one, or as the motto for next year? Anyways, I need to come up with more reasons to say something here; I seem to not ever actually talk to anyone on here anymore... But whatever. ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 03:48, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Well, you aren't, but you do the job nonetheless. :) Uh, that was definitely a support over the current one. I'll go clarify that. I know what you mean though, I just prowl my watchlist and never talk. like, at all. PrincessofLlyr royal court 04:05, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
It's nice having somewhere where I can feel like I'm needed somewhat. :) It seems like I only ever do anything real at MotD... If you call that real. I'm always praying I'll find some sort of discussion where I can not sound like an idiot; not much goes on in my watchlist, so I don't even have that to look forward to! ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 04:11, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Watchlist where you hit the refresh button ten times and then wonder how nothing can be happening on any of the few hundred pages you follow? been there, done that. I keep thinking I need to work up a GA or something, but I don't actually have the time for that. Do you ever contribute at Simple English Wikipedia? There's a lot more to do over there, expanding articles and patrolling new changes. PrincessofLlyr royal court 04:16, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, it's wonderful seeing nothing happen... This is the most excitement I've had all week! I don't think I could trust myself to write in that style well at Simple... I don't know. I don't think I could handle another watchlist. :) ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 04:22, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, Simple definitely is different. But hey, if you ever want something else to do, it's there. I've just had trouble finding the passion for Wikipedia when I don't have any major projects going on and I'm so busy in real life. PrincessofLlyr royal court 04:24, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
That's been my problem for a while; I had an article I was working on, but I've gotten it as far as I'll be able to; I haven't had time (or the want) to start anything else... ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 04:34, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

thanks

Thanks for reviewing Something Upstairs. I'll try to cut down the summary. AngusWOOF (talk) 05:30, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

I trimmed down the summary as much as I could without losing critical content, so hopefully only a few lines per chapter. Also wanted to know if the Infobox in the assessment is still an issue AngusWOOF (talk) 10:05, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
The summary is much better. I'll go through and try to clean it up some. The issue with the infobox was that it needed a cover, which is not an issue now, although it could be a better quality image. PrincessofLlyr royal court 17:58, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
