Little context in The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It Soundtrack edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It Soundtrack, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It Soundtrack is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It Soundtrack, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior (disambiguation) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior (disambiguation), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://channel-disney-wendy-wu.cn. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 11:06, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:BrendaSongBeavermovie.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:BrendaSongBeavermovie.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Brenda Song edit

When you are editing this article, could you please use spaces after punctuation, and put movie and TV series titles in italics using ''[[Movie Title]]'' or ''Movie Title'' form, depending on whether it's linked or not? Also, it's discouraged to wikilink another article more than once in a section, and even less would be helpful as the Song article seems pretty full of links from the lists of shows (see WP:MOSLINK#Overlinking_and_underlinking:_what.27s_the_best_ratio.3F). Finally, some links need what is called "disambiguation" to point to the right page, eg if "American" is needed, it might need to be written [[United States|American]]. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Normal 320.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Normal 320.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:33, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry you didn't get the point edit

I can see that you didn't listen and understand, and deleted my previous comment without considering it, so I'll repeat it. We have many bad articles on Wikipedia. There are some articles that tell us what an actress's favorite toenail polish is, or what she named her pet goldfish when she was in the third grade. When I notice such things, I delete them, because they are not notable facts. Many other editors do the same thing. These things do not belong in Wikipedia. There's a whole page devoted to What Wikipedia is not, and you should read it as well. WP:NOTABILITY is another important page to read. It's also important to understand that when multiple editors remove your material, just forcing it back in is not the right approach. As I warned you yesterday, if another editor removed your material, putting it back in would get you blocked. Not surprisingly, when I got up this morning, I looked, and someone had removed it, you had put it back in, and you had been blocked. Please learn from this. It's always nice to have another editor on the project, so long as they understand what the project is about.Kww (talk) 17:23, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Brenda Song 2 edit

In [2] you said: "Soundtarcks section not effecting the section. And musical performances in show can be added right since selena gomez has this text which i keep on removing but it just keeps on getting reverting." Where is this? The Selena Gomez article has a music section with three lines. There is no comparison.

If you don't justify your edits on the talk page, I'll revert them. In particular, why add unnecessary section headers? Why repeat links? Why repeat content multiple times? I get the impression you're trying to make the article bigger, presumably because you're a big fan. No problem with being a fan, but filling the article with trivia and tables makes her look *worse*, not better. Have some restraint with the trivia and tables, and let her genuine accomplishments show through. Gimmetrow 22:19, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Brendasongtb.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading Image:Brendasongtb.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla (talk) 17:08, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

IMDB as a reliable source edit

Just some light reading about what parts of IMDB we can use as a reference and why.

Wikipedia:Reliable_source_examples#Use_of_electronic_or_online_sources

Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_5#IMDB

Basically we can rely on credit info as it is supplied by the studios. Everything else is dubious as IMDB has not shown that they do any real fact checking on their own. Some of the stuff at IMDB originates from Wikipedia. --NrDg 18:26, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of I Don't Think About It edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article I Don't Think About It, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Since it has not been covered nor appeared on any notable music chart, it fails WP:MUSIC.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Christina Aguilera (disambiguation) edit

The article Christina Aguilera (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary disambiguation page. The main article, Christina Aguilera, contains a hatnote to her self-titled album. There's no need for a separate page to link to Aguilera's discography or awards.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Σxplicit 05:57, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:10, 5 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
