August 2012 edit

Hello, I'm MikeWazowski. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Brown University people, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, MikeWazowski (talk) 18:43, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not write an article about yourself, as you apparently did at List of Brown University people. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:04, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia: check out the Teahouse! edit

Hello! Preciousconsort, you are invited to the Teahouse, a forum on Wikipedia for new editors to ask questions about editing Wikipedia, and get support from peers and experienced editors. Please join us!
I, and the rest of the hosts, would be more than happy to answer any questions you have! SarahStierch (talk) 17:43, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at James Hilton, you may be blocked from editing. MikeWazowski (talk) 22:02, 26 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
